We design experiences that connect guests to the Cape Whale Coast’s vibrant culinary landscape: its flavours, its makers, its traditions, and its future. Rooted in collaboration and storytelling, our mission is to celebrate the richness of this place – to slow down, share a table, and savour what truly matters. We exist to connect, uplift, and honour our local food community – and to warmly welcome others into it.

Tastes of Hermanus was born from a deep love for this region and the people who shape it. Why We Created These Tours
In Hermanus and along the Cape Whale Coast, landscapes and stories are revealed through food and wine.
For years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting the chefs, winemakers, farmers, artists, artisans and entrepreneurs who help shape this part of the world. Again and again, we found ourselves introducing visitors to these people and places — sharing a favourite bakery, a hidden studio, a family-run producer, or a view that never fails to stop us in our tracks.
These tours grew from a desire to make those connections more meaningful. Rather than simply showing guests where to eat or what to see, we wanted to create experiences that bring people together around the stories, flavours and craftsmanship that define this corner of the world.
Every tour is thoughtfully designed to celebrate a sense of place: the coastline, the vineyards, the creativity, and above all, the people whose passion and generosity make Hermanus such an extraordinary destination.
